Since the nursing career has been on my mind, I decided to compare old statistics to what some nurses are making today. I can tell you that the LPN nurse salary is not much more than it used to be. I’m sure that nurses can feel that with the rise of inflation. So how are those in the health field supposed to get by? Carefully just like everyone else.

While nurses are an integral part of saving peoples lives and getting people better from sickness, sports stars who play games are making millions. And on top of that, take a look at Michel Vick who gets a little slap in the wrist for dog fighting which is a felony, and then goes right back to making millions of dollars doing what he loves to do. I would say its a pretty twisted world. The world is not run on love for people that’s for sure. But if I were dying in a hospital, I can tell you I would rather have that low paid nurse working on me than that dog fighting twit who cares little about life.

Most of us pay for the mistakes we make, but the ones who are famous with money don’t have to. That’s just a rule of society. They get special treatment and special pay. Will I go into the nursing field? I’m leaning towards no for now, but I sure have a lot more respect for them than movie stars and sports stars.

There are so many people struggling in the economy now days that it seems hard to know what to do at time. Some have decided however that they want to go back to school, and get a degree so that when things are better they will have a degree in the medical field, or another field that will get them a job quickly.

One this is true, and that is that getting a degree to be a nurse or a doctor will really get you going in the right direction financially. There are also plenty of jobs for nurses and assistants. So the question is then, how to get a nursing degree fast when there is so little time before money runs out in your bank or before you lose your job elsewhere?

The best option is to take online courses which will help you complete the required courses to be an assistant or an RN. Once these are fulfilled, then you can work part time at a hospital or other medical facility while still going to school.

There are so many jobs in the medical field right now, and as long as you apply yourself to studies one of those positions will be waiting just for you.

Well my investments haven’t been adding up lately. I decide that it was time to move some money from one pace to another. What am I talking about? I am talking about taking money from investments that haven’t been earning lately, and moving them to some new researched earners.

My reason for moving is the mutual funds that my money has been sitting in has not been making much. Actually I have lost quite a bit of money. After looking over some of the top mutual funds I was able to choose some better investments.

Biotech funds seem to be doing well, and if you choose properly, you can make some good coin.

If you feel like you want to be a little more reserved, then you can go with getting bonds. They are not only one of the safer investments, but they also tend to make a lot smaller in return than funds or stocks. But hey, ROI is good no matter what amount.
