Getting the right degree

Monday, 31. August 2009 17:56

There are so many people struggling in the economy now days that it seems hard to know what to do at time. Some have decided however that they want to go back to school, and get a degree so that when things are better they will have a degree in the medical field, or another field that will get them a job quickly.

One this is true, and that is that getting a degree to be a nurse or a doctor will really get you going in the right direction financially. There are also plenty of jobs for nurses and assistants. So the question is then, how to get a nursing degree fast when there is so little time before money runs out in your bank or before you lose your job elsewhere?

The best option is to take online courses which will help you complete the required courses to be an assistant or an RN. Once these are fulfilled, then you can work part time at a hospital or other medical facility while still going to school.

There are so many jobs in the medical field right now, and as long as you apply yourself to studies one of those positions will be waiting just for you.

Investing My Money Somewhere Else

Well my investments haven’t been adding up lately. I decide that it was time to move some money from one pace to another. What am I talking about? I am talking about taking money from investments that haven’t been earning lately, and moving them to some new researched earners.

My reason for moving is the mutual funds that my money has been sitting in has not been making much. Actually I have lost quite a bit of money. After looking over some of the top mutual funds I was able to choose some better investments.

Biotech funds seem to be doing well, and if you choose properly, you can make some good coin.

If you feel like you want to be a little more reserved, then you can go with getting bonds. They are not only one of the safer investments, but they also tend to make a lot smaller in return than funds or stocks. But hey, ROI is good no matter what amount.
